Drilling gate blowout preventers are divided into U-type, UM-type and S-type according to the cavity structure.
U-type: The gate body is oblong, which can reduce stress concentration; it is easy to replace the gate; the product size is relatively small, suitable for forgings and inner wall surfacing products.
UM-type: The side door is opened by hydraulic pressure; the gate body is oblong; the shear cavity is interchangeable with the ordinary cavity, which is easy to maintain; the service life is long.
S-type: The shell is integrally cast and is relatively easy to process; the side door is opened by hinges; the gate cavity is a rectangular structure with arcs and guide ribs, and the gate is not easy to get stuck; the top seal is flat, which is easy to maintain and has a high cost performance.
