1. Daily Maintenance
Cleaning & Lubrication
To maintain the pristine condition and operational integrity of the Main Shaft, it is essential to meticulously clean any mud and oil residues post daily operations. Focus on wiping critical components, like the taper joints, with a non-woven fabric to protect against the detrimental effects of chemical corrosion.
Ensure the longevity and smooth operation of your machinery with regular lubrication. Use the specified lithium-based grease as per the manufacturer's guidelines. The main shaft bearings require oil injection every 200 hours at most. Be precise in the oil quantity to prevent contamination and maintain optimal performance.
Fastener Inspection Protocol.
Safeguard the integrity of the Main Shaft by routinely verifying the pre-tightening force of connecting bolts, including lifting ring screws and coupling bolts. Adhere to technical manual standards, such as ensuring that for DQ70BS top drives, bolt torque is maintained at a minimum of 1200 N·m.
2, Comprehensive Routine Maintenance.
Precision Bearing and Seal Testing.
Every 500 operational hours, disassemble the Main Shaft bearing to inspect for wear. Measure the radial clearance using a micrometer, and replace the bearing if the clearance is found to exceed 0.05mm, ensuring optimal function.
Quarterly, replace all seals, prioritizing those made from fluororubber to effectively combat hydrogen sulfide corrosion, ensuring the system remains robust and resistant.
Dedicated Conical Interface Maintenance.
Conduct a monthly inspection of the Main Shaft cone mouth. Should the tool holder's contact rate fall below 75%, it is imperative to grind and repair the cone to prevent issues such as excessive 'horn mouth' jumping.
3, Strategic Fault Prevention and Resolution.
Advanced Vibration and Temperature Surveillance.
Equip your system with vibration sensors to monitor the Main Shaft in real-time for any deviations, maintaining a threshold of ≤ 2.5mm/s. If the temperature elevates beyond 60 ºC, pause operations to address potential lubrication or bearing concerns immediately.
