Function: 1. Power transmission and rotation control: Directly drive the drill pipe to rotate, replacing the traditional rotary operation mode, achieving 0-228rpm stepless speed regulation and maximum 51500N·m torque output to meet the drilling needs of different formations.

2. Drilling fluid circulation channel: Built-in Φ127-178mm hollow spindle, realizing synchronous operation of rotary drilling and drilling fluid circulation, with a pressure resistance of 690BAR, ensuring wellbore cleaning and well control safety.

3. Safety and automatic operation: Equipped with remote control internal blowout preventer (IBOP) and torque overload protection (such as 55000ft-lbs limit value), automatic shutdown when exceeding the limit.
Supports continuous drilling of 28-meter stand roots, reducing 2/3 of the time for connecting single roots, and can quickly connect the drill tool for back-marking at any well depth, significantly reducing the risk of stuck drill.
4. Special working conditions: The hydraulic balance system provides a 203mm buffer stroke to protect the threaded connection of the drill bit and adapt to complex well operations such as directional wells and horizontal wells.
The modular design facilitates quick maintenance, such as completing seal replacement within 15 minutes.


 

TDS11SA,ROTATING LINK ADAPTOR ASSEMBLY,SEALING PERFORMANCE TEST UNDER 35 MPA PRESSURE: 
Medium : Hydraulic oil # 68
First, the equipment needs to be calibrated: the pressure sensor (accuracy ±1%FS) and flow meter need to be calibrated, and the system needs to be run at no load for 5 minutes to remove air bubbles.
Progressive pressure increase from 5MPa to 32MPa, and the pressure of 32MPa is maintained for 5 minutes.

Test results: In five minutes at high pressure, the pressure value of each oil channel remained stable. This proved that the equipment's sealing performance was intact.

Daily maintenance:
1. Sealing system inspection: Check the wear of the rotary joint sealing surface (normal wear ≤ 10mm). If three-point intermittent tracks or scratches are found, replace the seal immediately.
2. Monitor the leakage of drilling fluid. When the carbide sealing surface leaks, the machine needs to be shut down for processing.
3. Lubrication management: The main shaft bearing uses high-temperature grease (such as NLGI grade 2), and oil is injected through the oil nozzle every 8 hours. Clean the oil nozzle before oiling to prevent contamination.

Monthly maintenance:
1. Disassemble the gooseneck to check the internal corrosion, and use ultrasonic flaw detection to detect the wall thickness reduction (safety threshold ≥ 80% of the original thickness).
2 Test the hydraulic system pressure, and the floating cylinder stroke error is ≤ 5mm.

Quarterly deep maintenance:
1. Completely replace all seals in the groove of the rotary head adapter (a total of 10), and use a special guide tool during installation to avoid sealing lip flanging.
2. Clean the hydraulic oil filter and check whether there is metal shavings deposited on the inner wall of the oil channel (abnormal deposition indicates gearbox wear).






Special working condition handling:
1. Alpine environment: preheat the hydraulic oil to above 15ºC before starting, and do not energize when the insulation resistance of the motor winding is less than 1MΩ.
2. Marine corrosion protection: check the zinc coating thickness every month (<80μm needs to be re-sprayed), and apply anti-corrosion silicone grease to the electrical connector.

Fault warning indicators:
1. Abnormal vibration: spindle radial runout > 0.15mm requires dynamic balance calibration.
2. Temperature alarm: gearbox oil temperature > 85ºC or motor winding > 220ºC triggers shutdown protection.
The above standardized maintenance can extend the life of the rotary head by 30%-50%. During maintenance, the torque parameters in the equipment manual must be strictly followed (such as the tightening torque of the back clamp bolt 125N·m±5%)
