The gooseneck, crafted for well logging, features corrosion-resistant liners and nuts to effectively block the upper high-pressure mud pipeline during drilling and prevent mud overflow.
One end of the gooseneck connects to the wash pipe assembly, which is engineered with a super high-pressure structure. This crucial component is key to sealing high-pressure mud, utilizing a self-sealing and rapid disassembly structure. When necessary, due to wear, replacing the wash pipe and packing is simplified. Simply open the cover of the upper and lower packing to remove the entire device without detaching the gooseneck or the mud hose. This design facilitates easy drilling interruptions for replacement at any point during the drilling process, minimizing operational downtime.
The opposing end of the gooseneck is seamlessly connected with the mud hose, using a robust 4-inch female coupling for optimal performance. The union is expertly engineered, featuring a Fig1003 thread type for secure and reliable connectivity.
Strategically installed, a mud prevention device bridges the main shaft and wash pipe connection, ensuring operational efficiency and site safety.
