Product Description

Two Type of API 16A Bop Blowout Preventer

For the Annular BOP, there is two model: Tapered rubber; Spherical rubber;

Upper housing and the body have two connection forms as connection by bolts and connection by claw chuck. 

Annular BOP with Tapered rubber is composed of seven parts as upper housing, wear plate, body, piston, tapered rubber, anti-dust ring, and supporting cylinder.

Annular Blowout Preventer with Spherical rubber is composed of five parts as upper housing, body, piston, spherical rubber, and anti-dust ring.

Manufacturing Standards and Technical Requirements

1.Manufacturing standard

The hydraulic system should meet the range of 10.5MPa~15MPa hydraulic pressure.

Connection thread precision should be in accordance with GB/T 9253.2 standard.

 

2.Rubber core production requirements

Material mixing should be uniform, vulcanisation temperature and time should be strictly according to the technology.

The finished product should pass the fatigue performance test (no failure for more than 200 times of repeated opening and closing).

 

3.Inspection rules

Sampling test for each batch (≤ 50 units and 2 units)

Type test covers new product trial production, major process changes and other scenarios.

 

Quality inspection items before leaving the factory:

Structural size inspection

Check the consistency of product type and drawing, including flange connection size, through diameter and other key parameters

Rubber core type and size need to comply with HG 2292-1992 standard (A-type conical / B-type spherical)

 

Material performance verification

Forging materials need to meet the GB/T 699 standard, after forging to JB/T 4726 Ⅲ requirements (provide metal raw material test report, provide mechanical properties test report)

Rubber core rubber needs to pass tensile strength (GB 528), hardness (GB 531), oil resistance (GB 1690) and other tests

 

Sealing performance test

Hydrostatic pressure test at 1.5 times the rated working pressure (e.g. 21MPa/35MPa), no leakage at steady pressure for 3 minutes.

Prohibit zero seal test (empty well full seal test)
