Product Description

In Top Drive System, the Gooseneck pipe is a critical transitional component that connects the Top Drive System to the high-pressure drilling fluid delivery line. Its distinctive S-shaped or curved structure, reminiscent of a goose's neck, allows for flexibility during rotational drilling operations while ensuring the continuous transfer of fluid. Fabricated from high-strength alloy steel or wear-resistant composite materials, the pipe often incorporates internal corrosion-resistant coatings or ceramic linings to withstand extreme pressures (up to tens of megapascals), abrasive drilling fluids and high-velocity flow.

Daily maintenance:

1. Daily inspection items
Appearance inspection: Check whether the bolts and safety lock wires of the gooseneck and flushing tube bracket are loose or damaged.
Internal inspection: Visually check whether there are dents, wear or corrosion inside the gooseneck, and perform ultrasonic flaw detection if necessary.
Sealing test: Perform pressure tests regularly to ensure good sealing performance.

2. Lubrication maintenance
Pushing tube lubrication: Use a grease gun to add grease to the grease nozzle on the side of the flushing tube packing box every day (2-4 strokes per place).
Thread lubrication: When reinstalling after disassembly, apply thread grease to the threads.

3. Cleaning and damage prevention
Cleaning requirements: The surface of the gooseneck needs to be cleaned during relocation, but it is forbidden to rinse electrical components (such as cable connectors) with water.
Coaxiality inspection: If the flushing tube seal is frequently damaged, it is necessary to check whether the coaxiality of the gooseneck and the main shaft is too large.

4. Safety Precautions
Operation Specifications: Turn off the power of the equipment during maintenance and avoid working in the running state.
Protective Measures: Wear a safety belt and use anti-fall tools when working at heights; wear protective glasses when checking the hydraulic system.

5. Regular In-depth Maintenance
Flaw Detection: Perform magnetic particle inspection on the gooseneck every six months or during overhaul to check for cracks or structural damage.
Wear Replacement: If the thread or connection is severely worn, the parts need to be replaced in time
