1. General Configuration

1. The main transmission system adopts a special AC frequency conversion asynchronous motor, ABB ACS880 AC frequency conversion system.

1. The motor stator coil adopts hard winding structure, insulation grade H, and the overflow capacity under the same conditions is three times that of the scattered enameled wire .
2. Turn-to-turn insulation adopts a imported FCR film, Whole Motor adopts vacuum pressure impregnating (VPI)with non solvent paint
3. The motor adopts full laminated structure which is benefit to the stator heat dissipation, reduce the weight and volume of the whole machine
4. The fixing of  the motor adopts the combination mode of end face fixing and external pull rod fixing, which improves the stability of the motor.

1. The lubrication system in gear box adopts the combination of splash lubrication and forced lubrication, with a high lubrication efficiency.
2. The Pipe Handler adopts the design of L-shaped back-up tong , which is convenient to replace the clamp dies and protect the saver sub.

1. The elevator link tilt mechanism can tilt forward, tilted backward and rotated along with the rotating head, which is conducive to grasping the drill pipe and making the lower end of the top drive near to the drilling platform, and the drill tools are fully used.
2. There are 8 oil circuits inside the rotating head, 6 of which are used for tilt mechanism and back up tong mechanism, and the remaining 2 are standby; ensure the overall sealing and mechanical properties of the rotating head in design, processing and assembly.
3. The L-shape back-up tong rotates together with the rotating head, which can replace the saver sub and IBOP automatically . The back-up tong is reliable for clamping and convenient for maintenance.

1. The guide rail adopts folding type, which is fast and convenient for installation and reliable for connection.
2. The Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) is used to control the auxiliary system, which has multi functions such as security interlock, monitoring and alarm to ensure the safety and reliability of the system.
3. The hydraulic system adopts integrated upper mounted structure with high reliability and easy to debugging and maintenance. The hydraulic source is composed of ABB explosion-proof motor and YUKEN hydraulic pump, which only needs to be opened while the operation of tripping, makeup&breakout and directional drilling. There is no need to start the hydraulic pump when drilling, and the hydraulic system is very low heat.
4. Adopt domestic offshore drilling special cables, connected by explosion-proof connectors, and the protection level reaches IP67, with obvious identification. The cable insulation sheath is made of crack-free rubber imported from the United States, meanwhile the high pressure hose sheath is adopted, which is in high and low temperature resistance, oil resistance, mud resistance, corrosion resistance, and high protection grade
5. The whole system adopts the modular packaging design for easy transportation and installation.
